Cleaning and Maintance
Change the Water Regularly
The frequency of changing the water in your cold plunge depends on the level of usage. Generally, it is recommended to change the water every week or two, depending on the amount of use. Empty the old water and scrub the interior of the cold plunge with a mild cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly and refill with fresh water. This will help to remove any build-up of bacteria and contaminants.
Monitor Chemical Levels
Chemicals such as chlorine or bromine are necessary to kill bacteria and maintain the cleanliness of the water. However, it's essential to monitor the chemical levels regularly to ensure they remain within safe ranges. Use a test kit to check the levels of pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer, and adjust as needed. Skim the Surface
